  • We estimate that the US children’s and infants’ apparel and footwear market will grow 0.4% in 2022, marginally slower than our 0.5% growth expectations for the total apparel and footwear market. Growth in the market is driven by high apparel renewal among growing children and inflation but offset by the declining US birth rate, which is a major drag on total childrenswear sales.
