Despite rising consumer prices—8.3% in August and hovering around a four-decade high, shoppers are cautious, but equally confident about making purchases this holiday season. According to a recent Coresight Research survey, gift cards—which are an unaffected category by inflation top the list of gifts which shoppers would like to receive as gifts and emerged amongst the top three categories which shoppers expect to purchase.
