  • We believe that inclusivity is a key trend to watch in retail; it is a component trend of Coresight Research’s RESET framework for change.
  • Coresight Research’s 2022 US consumer survey on adaptive clothing, footwear and accessories found that among respondents who have a disability or care for someone with a disability, 48% reported having challenges in finding apparel to meet their needs. Price is the top challenge, cited by more than six in 10 respondents in this subset.
  • Price is both the biggest challenge and the top request among respondents: 57% of respondents with disabilities would like to see lower prices.
