The group noted that this is its highest growth in 13 quarters, with a particularly strong performance in its Latin American food retail and electronics sales segments. Sales in France, however, fell 1.1%, due to the closure of 282 stores and a fall of 7.6% in the sales of Leader Price stores. For France, the group confirmed that for FY16, it expects a trading profit of more than €500 million and free cash flow of €550 million.
