Highlights from our September US Same-Store Sales report: Costco’s same-store sales growth in September this year was below the growth reported in August but was well ahead of consensus. Costco reported strong growth across all segments including food and sundries, hardlines, softlines and ancillary business. Among the specialty retailers, Buckle’s comparable sales fell by 2.4% year over year in September, compared to a 0.7% decline reported in August 2018.
